ReciproCoach now in Spanish!
Do you know any Spanish speaking coaches? Do you speak Spanish yourself? As of September, ReciproCoach is now available in Spanish. You can coach, mentor and personally and professionally develop, all in Spanish! In fact, the first ever Spanish ReciproCoach round begins on October 6.
If you're already an English member, you don't need to register in Spanish again. Once a ReciproCoach, always a ReciproCoach, no matter what the language - we don't have any borders! You can set up your profile in Spanish by logging into the members area, going to the Profile menu and clicking on "Other languages". Then, any time you want to coach in Spanish, just click on the Spanish flag at the top of the News panel of our website and so the website will appear in Spanish and all rounds you see will be full of Spanish speakers. When you want to go back to the English website, just click on the British flag and presto, the website and all of the rounds will again be in English.
If you know a coach who only speaks Spanish (and doesn't speak English), please direct them straight to the Spanish website:
http://www.espanol.reciprocoach.com
By directing your Spanish speaking coaching colleagues directly to the Spanish ReciproCoach website, you will still get free coins for your referrals, but the Spanish speaking coaches you refer won't get confused by the English website and will only know ReciproCoach in Spanish. They will also only know the new Spanish ReciproCoach coordinator, Ana Maria Sarmiento.
Ana Maria Sarmiento, a bilingual Latin American coach, who's been a ReciproCoach since March 2008, approached me in 2009 and suggested making ReciproCoach available to Spanish speakers. I had once coached Ana's husband in German in a ReciproCoach gift round - like so many ReciproCoach relationships, that initial match relationship has blossomed into something much bigger.
Since early this year, Ana has been busily translating the entire ReciproCoach website into Spanish (and uncovering bugs that I hadn't yet found!) and now she's set to be the first ReciproCoach coordinator other than me! Yay Ana! If you'd like to find out more about Ana Sarmiento, you can

As of today, ReciproCoach is truly an international community with Spanish being the first of three languages other than English (French and German will follow soon). I have worked for years with the vision of making ReciproCoach a community that would be a lasting resource for coaches around the world and I feel with this new development of accessibility of ReciproCoach in languages other than English, ReciproCoach will be an ever richer resource for the long run.
