Silke Thompson

 

Silke discovered ReciproCoach in 2010, through Ana Sarmiento, the Spanish ReciproCoach Coordinator. The idea of an international community of coaches, who support each other through offering professional, affordable coaching to each other and receiving it in return, fascinated her right away.

Quality in coaching has always been of special interest to Silke and ReciproCoach offers coaches the opportunity to learn from each other and therefore continously improve their skills. Therefore, it wasn't long before Silke approached Kerryn Griffiths, the Global Reciprocoach Coordinator, to find out if ReciproCoach was available in German for German speaking coaches worldwide. Sure enough, it wasn't and Silke jumped at the opportunity to lead it!

 

Silke started out as an expert for international product development in the textile industry. Then, armed with an MBA and 10 years experience as an expatriate in the USA and France, she worked as as a business development manager and director for an expatriates' consultancy service in Germany.

Silke now focuses on supporting people to better understand other cultures and facilitating crosscultural communication through building people's awareness about their own culture. She has been coaching since 2004 in an international business context.

Until today, quality has been one of Silke's passions. Be it product or service quality, "Excellence always!" is her motto.
